How peculiar is it to ceremonially sit and watch the most mundane of tasks? In Citrus Grandis, a piece on patience and appreciation, Cynthia-ël and Jan Sutter discover how it is to just do.
Cynthia-ël Hasbani is a Beirut-born Berlin-based media artist. From visual design to video art, interactive installation and live performance, her work revolves around dreams, memories, motion and psychosomatic aesthetics inspired by a longing for the 90’s, when digital and analog were bordering on simultaneity.
Jan Sutter is an electronic musician who’s performing on the modular synthesizer.
Jan describes his music as a meditative work with the relationship of two pulses. His approach is creating a comprehensive musical form, built through the gravity of a musical moment, provoking the jointly deepening of the individual self.
