Celebration
mit Ngako Keuni
Celebration is a conscious esteem and appreciation of who we are. What we possess and don't possess. This event is articulated into 4 parts which are: Dance Workshop, Painting and Movement workshop, concert and short Performances.
Painting and Movement workshop
The painting is yours and it carries your story. How you tell it and what you tell belongs to you.
Joe the painter throws on a tissue color which you are allowed to spread on with you movements or dancing. During the process you will be given some more instructions and colors to expand your creativity. At the End the piece of tissue on which you perform will be assemble and finalize to make a board painting that you could collect later on.
Opened for all public but with limited places. Please make sure to sign up quickly to save your place by sending your Name, Age and at this email address. Families are mostly welcome as there is a possibility of more than one person performing on the tissue.
Photos will be taken during the session for our next event. We would also like you to support our work.
What should you bring?
Come the way you are. We do recommend to step on your tissue barefoot to better connect to the object. It is going to be colorful. A slightly demonstration will be made during the performing day, or the will be in advance a recorded Video to give you a picture.
Each performance for the sake of the time we have is tailored for maximum 5 minutes. There will be 3 tissues on the floor in the room at the time you are performing. There will be simultaneous performers in the room. This would perhaps give a sense of collectivity in your creation. We would just like to make you aware of this.
Cleaning up.
Please bring some exchange clothes and towel to clean up afterwards as our facility is limited. We are looking forward to see you and celebrate the moment together.
